Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Foreman to join our operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse by: managing inventory, overseeing shipping/receiving of materials, minor parts assembly, seasonal grounds care, and maintaining warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate is a reliable, proactive leader with strong organizational skills and a background in electrical contracting or construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including managing waste and ensuring proper storage practices.
Tool/Equipment and Inventory Management: Working knowledge of inventory control practices; working knowledge of tools, supplies and equipment used in the construction industry. Receive, record, and track all tool/material inventory and PPE material that is requested for jobsite use.
Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify items against purchase orders, inspect for damages, notifying appropriate personnel of receival, and properly label and store goods.
Maintenance of Shop: Ensure that all warehouse equipment is operating correctly and safely, performing minor maintenance as needed. Assist with fleet maintenance, transportation, and repair schedule of fleet vehicles.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts.
Collaboration: Work closely with field personnel to coordinate receiving and delivering materials to jobsites as needed

Qualifications:
Physical requirements include occasional heavy lifting, though exertion of up to 20 lbs. of force is more common.
Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
